Shopping in Croydon

Croydon is one of the main shopping centres South of London with over 2.5 million sq. ft of retail space.  A large variety of well-known retailers - many situated in the shopping malls, Whitgift Centre and Centrale. The area between the two main centres is completely pedestrianised.

There is also a thriving street market every day except Sundays in Surrey Street selling a wide selection of vegetables, fresh fruit, flowers and general goods

Slightly out of town is the 'Purley Way/Valley Park' shopping area along the A23.
