Visiting Croydon
Welcome to Croydon's official online guide to accommodation and tourist information. Download the Visit Croydon 2007/08 brochure or send an email tic@croydon.gov.uk to request a hard copy. Croydon has something for everyone, shopping, entertainment, restaurants, pubs, nightclubs, heritage and parks and open spaces. The town is an ideal base for exploring London and South East England with excellent public transport and road links. By train, central London is just 20 minutes whilst Brighton can be reached in under an hour. A wide range of accommodation ensures all budgets are catered for - from large 4 star hotels and travel accommodation, to family run bed and breakfasts and self-catering apartments. Dining out is easy with the choice of a wide variety of cuisine; American dining through to Turkish is on offer. Croydon is one of the largest retail spaces outside of central London. Two shopping centres, the Whitgift Shopping Centre and Centrale, combine with a range of superstores on Purley Way to provide an exciting range of fashion and lifestyle brands. We look forward to welcoming you soon. If you can't find the answer to your question on this part of the website please contact:Croydon Tourist Information Centre ![]()
