Located in South Norwood, entrances in Selhurst Road, Tennison Road and Cargreen Road

This recreation ground was acquired by the council in 1889 and the Borough Road Surveyor estimated that it would cost £1,326. 19s. 6d. to lay out. Over a quarter of this cost was to put land drainage in which suggests that the site was quite wet.
