Located in Norbury, main entrance off Highbury Avenue, also bounded by County Road, Westminster Avenue and Green Lane
Green Lane Sports Ground was purchased from Gaumont British the Film Company, who had previously used it as a sports ground.
The area was purchased by the Corporation for the benefit, improvement and development of the Borough in September 1948.
The pavilion was used for a number of years by the Education Department for classrooms.
The Ground is well used by local schools and clubs for summer and winter field sports.
