Bourne Park
Located in Kenley, beside Godstone Road between Valley View Gardens and Bourne Park Close. Bourne Park (previously known as Kenley Recreation Ground) lies in a narrow strip of land between the busy Godstone Road and the railway line from Kenley to Whyteleafe. It was acquired by the Coulsdon and Purley Urban District Council in 1921 and was laid out as a public park with a playground and paddling pool and to the north west, allotments. With a gradual decline in use of allotments in later years they were abandoned and in 1987 the area was opened as an extension to the park.
