Special Needs

The needs of every child with special needs are different therefore it is better for parents or carers to contact the Children's Information Service to discuss the possibilities for their child.

The Croydon Early Education and Childcare Section is seeking to enable childcare and early education settings to accept children with varying needs

We are working with:

• Pre-schools and day nurseries to help them identify any additional needs children have, and to put in place  support systems for both staff and children.
   
• Out of school clubs to enable them to take additional children with special needs.
   
• Childminding Networks in Croydon to provide childcare for children with additional needs, whether these are Special Educational Needs, physical needs or social needs.
